Hot tub losing water? Describe where and when.
Water around a hot tub needs investigation before choosing a repair. Ocean Spas checks spa plumbing and equipment to help locate leaks and discuss repair options. Tell us your city and model so we can confirm service availability.
Initial leak-repair visit and first hour of repair labor: $200. Parts extra. Additional labor: $50 per 30 minutes. See full repair pricing.
Useful details for a leak request
- Where water collects around the cabinet or base.
- How quickly the water level changes.
- Whether the leak appears with the jets on, with them off, or all the time.
- Whether the issue began after maintenance, moving the spa or another change.
Photographs of the outside of the spa, the visible water and its display can help us understand your request. Only photograph areas you can reach safely. You do not need to dismantle the spa to send an enquiry.
Keep water and electricity separate
Stop using the spa if water is reaching electrical equipment. Disconnect power only if you can do so safely from a dry location; otherwise keep clear and seek professional help. Do not touch wet controls, keep operating a spa with low water, or remove electrical covers to search for the leak.
What leak diagnosis involves
Possible inspection points include plumbing connections, seals, jets and pump or heater unions. The visible puddle may not identify the source. Access to the equipment and the parts required affect the repair plan. Call Nick before draining or changing the water level, because the technician may need to observe the leak.
Leak repair visit and labor
The initial leak-repair visit and first hour of repair labor is $200. Each additional 30 minutes of labor is $50. Parts are extra. Completion depends on the issue, access and required parts. Ask about any return-visit charges before agreeing to further work.
When booking, include your address or ZIP, gate or access details and a description of the water loss. We will contact you to confirm the next step; the request itself is not an appointment confirmation.
